FIPR Institute’s Phosphate Curriculum chart shows where phosphate-related information fits into the most current (next generation) Sunshine State Standards.  It reflects how the teachers who have worked to help the FIPR Institute form its education program have applied phosphate-related information in their classrooms.  It also includes topics FIPR Institute technical and scientific expert advisors have suggested in order to expand the curriculum.

Currently the curriculum relates phosphate information to science and social studies as well as math and language arts.  Other topics can be introduced by teachers, allowing students to process and apply topic information.  The phosphate curriculum is continuously updated to meet the current needs of classroom teachers.

Teachers will continue to help the FIPR Institute refine and expand its phosphate curriculum as they brainstorm during workshops and seminars on how the information can help their students, be they kindergartners or high school seniors.
